U.S. Travel Rally Day at Tampa International Airport

Dear Travel Industry Supporter:
As you know, the recent economic recession has created a paralyzing environment for our industry, both in leisure and business travel,
and the resulting decline is damaging our industry and the communities we serve. That’s why your support for the Tourism Industry is
more important than ever.
To show our support for Tampa Bay’s No. 1 industry, and in observance of National Travel and Tourism Week, we invite you to join us
for our local celebration of the national U.S. Travel Rally Day on Tuesday, May 12, at Tampa International Airport.
To demonstrate the value of tourism to the entire Tampa Bay area, Tampa Bay & Company is co-hosting this event with our friends at
Visit St. Pete/Clearwater. The rally will feature remarks by local tourism officials, as well as representatives from municipal and county
governments on both sides of the bay.
Date: Tuesday, May 12
Time: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Place: Tampa International Airport, Landside Terminal (Level 3, Transfers)
We hope you will join us at this industry-wide show of strength, which is designed to bring together members of our community who
both support and represent the travel industry. Members of the media are also being asked to attend.
